Privacy Policy

LinYu Studio is an independent developer based in Malaysia and operates Testify. This Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use Testify worldwide.
1. Age Requirement
Testify is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: Firebase user ID, sign-in method, name, email, Google profile photo, custom avatar, region, role, reputation, coin balance, subscription plan, and account dates.
- Public profile: display name, avatar, region, reputation score, and member-since date.
- Campaign data: app details, instructions, links, images, privacy setting, limits, status, and dates.
- Testing data: membership, account email, testing Gmail, check-ins, proof screenshots, notes, review status, bug reports, UX feedback, and feature requests.
- Support data: reports, messages, user ID, email, and submission date.
- Subscription data: RevenueCat and Google Play identifiers, product and entitlement status, purchase, renewal, expiry, cancellation, and refund information. We do not receive full payment-card details.
- Notification and technical data: FCM tokens, app version, locale, timestamps, provider-supplied device/platform information, and security or network logs. Theme and language preferences are stored locally.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to authenticate users; operate profiles, campaigns, invitations, testing, proof, feedback, coins, subscriptions, and notifications; provide support; enforce limits; prevent fraud and abuse; secure and troubleshoot Testify; comply with law; and protect users and our rights.
4. Visibility and Sharing
- Signed-in users can see public profile fields. Email, coins, subscription plan, and FCM tokens are not public profile fields.
- A campaign developer can see the account email, testing Gmail, participation, check-ins, proof, and feedback of testers in that campaign.
- Proof and feedback are available in the app only to the submitting tester and relevant campaign developer.
- Public campaigns can be viewed by signed-in users. Private campaigns are intended for invite-code holders, owners, and participants.
- We use Google Firebase/Google Cloud, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Cloudflare R2, and RevenueCat.
- We may disclose data when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transfer.
We do not sell personal data and currently do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics SDKs.
5. Uploaded Images
Avatars, campaign images, proof, and feedback screenshots are stored with Cloudflare R2. Access to their records is restricted by Testify permissions. Image delivery uses object URLs; anyone who obtains a valid URL may be able to open it. Do not upload unrelated confidential, financial, identity, health, or other highly sensitive information.
6. International Processing
Our providers may process data outside Malaysia or your country. We use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain data while needed to provide Testify. Account deletion removes or schedules deletion of profiles, campaigns, participation, check-ins, proof, feedback, notifications, reports, and uploaded Testify images, normally within 30 days. Limited records may remain for legal obligations, payment records, fraud prevention, security, or disputes. Provider backups and logs may remain temporarily under provider retention practices.
Deleting Testify does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions separately through Google Play before deleting your account. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under legal and financial obligations.
8. Security
We use authentication, access rules, server-side deletion, and provider security controls. No system is completely secure. Protect your account and invite codes.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can edit profile information, control notification permission, manage subscriptions through Google Play, and delete your account in the app. You may contact us to request access, correction, a copy, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or deletion. Rights vary by location and may be subject to legal exceptions.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will change the date above and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
